SafeMarkets is a fraudulent platform associated with a large-scale investor scam in Europe. From 2015 to 2019, a group of fraudsters operating from Eastern Europe used platforms like SafeMarkets, OptionStarsGlobal, Cryptopoint, and XTraderFX to deceive thousands of investors, causing damages totaling approximately €100 million. Victims reported being unable to retrieve their investments and were shown fake charts displaying nonexistent profits. As a result of international investigations, key figures in this scheme, including Israeli national Gal Barak, were arrested and convicted for fraud.
